Kelly's Tasty Oven Caramel Popcorn!!!

For those of you who are just dying for one of my tasty recipes... I figured I could give just one of them up... and as a bonus, I even took step by step photo's.

Recipe for Kelly's Tasty Oven Caramel Popcorn!!

15 Cups of freshly popped pop corn (1/2 cup of popcorn seeds to be popped should be enough)
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup of Butter
1/4 Cup of Light Corn Syrup
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Soda

Step 1: Heat oven to 200 degrees.
Step 2: Pop 1/2 Cup of popcorn seeds in a dry popcorn popper (No butter or oils used). Spread out popped popcorn in a 1/2 full cake pan.

Step 3: Heat Brown Sugar, Butter, Corn Syrup, and Salt on medium heat until smooth. Cook for 5 minutes without stirring (edges will get bubbly).

Step 4: Take mixture off of the heat and add the Baking Soda. The mixture will then become foamy and should appear to increase in size. Pour over the popped popcorn and mix well. (You can add pecans, walnuts, or cashews to the mix).

Step 5: Add the rest of the popped popcorn. The caramel should be evenly spread out on everything.

Step 6: Bake the caramel popcorn in the oven for an hour, stirring about every 15 - 20 minutes. Be sure to get the carmel off the bottom of the pan.

Step 6 1/2: Enjoy the time to clean up. Now if your like Emmy, you know where to find the extra joy in making treats!

Step 7: Let your popcorn cool and then enjoy! Keep it stored in an air tight container. It should be good for a few weeks.
